Between shadows, reflections and fragments of presence...
Home explores the evolving bond between my son and me as he grows and gradually moves towards independence.
Through self-portraits made at home and photographs of my son, mostly captured outdoors, I explore the shifting boundaries between intimacy and distance, presence and absence. Reflections, shadows and fragments of figures become visual expressions of a relationship in constant transformation.
As our closeness changes, I find myself caught between the desire to hold on to what we share and the need to make room for what comes next. Through photography, I try to remain within this uncertain space, where love endures even as the shape of a relationship changes.
